Referral Marketing Strategy Tip: Try something new.

Referral Marketing Strategy Tip: Try something new. When it comes to marketing you must continually add new strategies. Doing the same thing over and over becomes boring. I knew one client who held a special event every year for 10 years. It was a great event but by year seven, attendance began to decline. Don’t get stuck in a rut out of habit. It may take more work but changing things up will ensure that your referral sources stay engaged.

When things go wrong, maintain composure.

When things go wrong, maintain composure. There will be the occasional bad day, difficult parent or patient, wrecked schedule, sick staff member… all of which increase stress. In the face of adversity, remain calm. Your fellow team members are counting on you to handle the situation. A calm demeanor allows you to respond appropriately to stressful situations.

Pay special attention to patients with dentures.

Pay special attention to patients with dentures. Denture patients are excellent prospects for implants. Offer free denture adjustments if these patients present to the practice at least once every 12 months for a check. This positions you to provide new dentures when needed, and to subtly “sell” patients on the benefits of implants.

Know your insurance codes.

Know your insurance codes. Each year a practice should check on appropriate codes for the top 10 or 12 procedures that they provide. When they do, they often discover that new codes are added or that other codes are appropriate for certain procedures. By understanding how to use insurance codes legally and properly, practice revenue can often be increased.
