Be willing to say you don’t understand something. Many of us are reluctant to admit we’re confused about what’s being discussed. If you’re not following the conversation, speak up. Ask for further explanation. More often than not, others will be feeling the same way, and when you ask for clarification, your teammates will actually thank you for saying what they were thinking.
