Use One-Day Rules to influence patient and parent behavior. To manage parents and patients more effectively, set a 24-hour limit for the team to accomplish certain tasks, including:
- Calling parents who left without an appointment… to get their children scheduled
- Following up with parents who haven’t yet accepted treatment for their children… to get them scheduled
- Calling no-shows… to see if everything is alright and to reschedule them
- Contacting parents whose payments are one day overdue… to collect what is owed
