Advice for the Pediatric Dentist – Assign responsibility for each performance target. Every target must be “owned” by the doctor or a staff member. While practice leaders obviously shoulder ultimate responsibility for practice performance, they must delegate targets to the appropriate team members. For example, the marketing coordinator would be tasked with reaching a patient referral target, or the office manager would be responsible for the overhead target.
