Provide thoughtful “creature comforts” for your surgical patients. Your patients will feel like welcome guests if you have nice extras in your reception area. Offer bottled water and other beverages. Have coffee table books (world travel, animals, etc.) and diverse, up-to-date magazines on hand. Provide wifi. Decorate with plants and fresh flowers. Use your imagination to come up with other patient-pleasing ideas.
