Advice for the Treatment Coordinator (TC) – Emphasize treatment benefits. TCs should have comprehensive knowledge of ortho treatment. But the “what” isn’t as important as the “why” when it comes to communicating treatment to parents and patients. The most important thing they want to know is, “what’s in it for me?” Being able to communicate the numerous benefits of orthodontic treatment is imperative for motivating parents and adult patients to accept treatment.
