Scripting Tip: Avoid saying, “Do you have any questions?” That question may sound harmless, but it can send the wrong message to patients. Some will think you’re in a hurry to wrap up the conversation or presentation so you can move on to another patient. Instead, say, “Is there anything else you’d like to know?” This sounds friendlier and shows a greater willingness to help.
