Make overhead control a team effort. Everyone on your team probably has a hand in spending practice money, so everyone can play a role in spending less. Unless you’ve trimmed overhead recently, you’ll be able to identify some budgetary “fat” that can be eliminated. The Levin Group target for surgical practice overhead is 50%. Many of the savings you come up with may be small, but it all adds up.
