Use scripts to ensure consistent messaging. Whether a parent is talking with the pediatric dentist, the treatment coordinator or the scheduling coordinator, the message should remain the same. Research shows it takes at least three mentions for an idea to have an impact on an individual’s decision-making process, so inconsistent messages can delay treatment decisions.
