Make good eye contact. Looking away from other people while speaking makes you seem disinterested or possibly even untrustworthy. Excellent eye contact, on the other hand, helps create a high level of confidence between doctor and patient, and between doctor and parent. The dentist and team members should always maintain eye contact, especially during case presentations and other situations where trust is critical.
