Understand the difference between daily meetings and monthly staff meetings. To help keep morning meetings brief—no more than 15 minutes—save questions or comments about practice procedures, systems or other broader issues for the monthly staff meetings. The daily meeting alerts everyone about what and who to expect as the day unfolds. If you have a pressing issue on your mind, take it directly to the office manager or your immediate supervisor rather than bringing it up in the morning meeting.
