Plan how you’ll respond to a crisis. What will you do if there’s an extended power outage or lack of online connectivity? How will you cope with a fire or flood that prevents you from using your office for weeks or months? Will your practice be able to continue serving patients if you or a key team member can’t work for an extended period? Make plans, in writing, so you and other team members will know exactly what to do if disaster strikes.
