Advice for the Orthodontist – Let parents know you welcome referrals. If you’re not getting referrals from 40–60% of your patients and their parents, it’s probably because it never occurs to them that your ortho practice would like to provide care to more patients. Simply let them know—with signs around the office, brochures, or a special promotion, or by bringing it up in conversation—and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the response.
