Make parents and patients feel like part of the “practice family.” To make parents and patients feel more welcome and comfortable at your office, substitute the word “we” for “I” in conversations with them. Always give them your full attention during conversations. These communication techniques will help increase parent and patient satisfaction, which will generate more word-of-mouth referrals.
