Advice for the Orthodontist – Don’t be afraid to make non-clinical mistakes. The fear of making mistakes can delay an ortho practice from reaching its potential. Ironically, a no-risk leadership style is in itself a risky proposition. The key is to avoid severe mistakes and learn from the minor or moderate ones and move forward. Orthodontists who are willing to innovate, take risks, and learn from their mistakes have the potential for tremendous growth and development.
