Communicate consistently with surgical patients. Use scripts to keep all team members on the same page when talking with patients. It can be very frustrating for patients to hear conflicting answers to the same question. It makes your surgical staff seem uninformed and uncoordinated—and undermines your efforts to provide exceptional customer service.
