Be willing to admit you don’t understand something. Many of us hesitate to admit we’re confused about what’s being discussed. If you’re not following the conversation, speak up. Ask for more explanation. Often, others will be feeling the same way, so when you ask for clarification, your teammates will be grateful to you for saying what they were thinking.
