Advice for the Orthodontist – Ask the team for suggestions. Team members have an excellent understanding of the practice. They are “in the trenches” every day, know the issues, and have insight into what may or may not be working. Take the time to ask for your staff members’ opinions. Their suggestions can be key to improving practice operations. This type of inclusive leadership contributes to improved morale and inspires greater commitment from the team.
