Improve hygiene scheduling efficiency. Appointment times for hygiene procedures should be determined by conducting procedural time studies. Measure procedures for each type of hygiene patient a minimum of four times and determine the average. Knowing how long these appointments actually take makes it possible to schedule patients more accurately.
