Advice for the Treatment Coordinator (TC) – Follow up with ortho candidates and parents. When a parent doesn’t agree to ortho treatment for a child during the consult, the TC can offer to call the home one evening and speak with both parents to review the treatment recommendations. Many parents genuinely appreciate this type of follow-up, and it gives the TC an opportunity to bring the energy, excitement and proper value creation to the other spouse.
