Advice to the Treatment Coordinator (TC) – Understand the change in consumer behavior. In today’s slower economy, consumers at all income levels who once were impulse buyers now often postpone purchasing decisions, shop for better deals and possibly buy somewhere else. This mentality has made new patient ortho consults much more challenging. TCs should concentrate more than ever on creating value for ortho treatment at their practice.
