Sometimes you just have to say it straight. Many people find it difficult to tell someone else what they’re really thinking, and yet what they’re thinking could go a long way toward improving the practice. As long as you’re polite it’s more than acceptable to share your thoughts with other people. Try not to focus on what’s wrong with the person as much as what’s wrong with the situation. You’ll be amazed at how much progress a practice can make when people are more straightforward.
