Start to develop scripts for communicating with patients about rescheduling appointments, completing treatment, case presentations, and collections—today. It may seem like you won’t be getting back to your practice anytime soon, but the reality is that you don’t know and you need to be ready. Be sure to be extremely compassionate in your scripting by acknowledging the situation that we’re in, wishing every patient and their family safety and health, and letting them know that you’re available to help them in any possible way.
