What is the most significant problem your practice is currently facing with patients? This is not a customer service question, but a practice–patient flow question. Do you have an exorbitant number of patients who arrive late? Or no-shows over 1%? Is too much time being spent collecting overdue accounts? Find these areas by asking the following question: “Where are our patients slowing us down and interrupting a smooth-running day?“ When you identify the areas that are outside of acceptable normal limits, then you have an opportunity to improve the systems, increase practice production, and create an efficient practice.
