Just say “I’m sorry.” Two words that the American public loves are “I’m sorry.” We want our celebrities to apologize when they do something stupid, we want athletes to apologize when they make a big mistake in a game, and we want everyone to apologize when we think they’re wrong. Often, an apology is all that is needed to end any further animosity or conflict; however, there are people who fight apologizing because it is especially important to them to be right. Ask yourself this question: Is it more important to be right in a meaningless situation where everyone ends up dissatisfied?
