Great leaders listen. One of the most important leadership traits is listening and this is a trait that most people have not mastered. Truly asking yourself what the other person is saying and what they are seeking is the key to listening. All too often we think we already know what is being asked and what the answer is and do not give the other person time to explain the reason that they are having the conversation.
