In this unprecedented era of the COVID-19 crisis we all need guidance to help us move forward. It seems that everything around us is changing and leadership is no exception. Levin Group has compiled a list of 7 C’s that we believe are leadership essentials in a time of crisis. We will to provide these “C’s” throughout the week and we urge practice leaders focus on implementing them in their practices.
C-3: The third C is Customers. Your patients are your customers and you don’t want them to forget about you or have them think you forgot about them. Reaching out to them on a regular basis just to give them updates, say hello, or provide information is a great idea. Calling 3 to 5 patients a day just to see how they’re doing is a great idea as well.
C-4: The fourth C is Cash. Over 90% of practices had less than one month of cash available when the COVID-19 crisis hit. Fortunately, for many of you you’ll be able to access loans that will help you bridge the timeframe of being out of the office. However, our future recommendation is that you gradually build four months of cash as you become profitable in the recovery stage.
